Robotics SW Engineer

Development and realization of SW systems related to autonomous flying robots, from real-time autonomy to user interfaces. Focus on SW feature development & testing and robotic simulations. Work on C++ code base for robot autonomy using Robot Operating System (ROS, ROS2).

What will be your job

    • Designing, developing, and implementing robotic SW solutions for autonomous flying robots (drones).
    • Programming and SW development: writing and optimizing C++ code, running simulation models.
    • System integration: integrating SW modules and ensuring their operation in a complex robotic system.
    • Ensuring SW modules’ modularity and applicability across the spectrum of internal products and projects.
    • Writing and maintaining documentation for SW and system pipelines. 
    • Collaboration with an international team of engineers.

What we require

  • C++ (advanced), Python (beginner)
  • Linux OS and shell scripting (beginner)
  • Git, GitHub (beginner)
  • English (both written and spoken)
  • Eagerness and enthusiasm to learn (we’ll teach you a lot if you’d like to learn)
  • Hands-on approach to creating innovation in cutting-edge drone technology
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking

What would be awesome (although not a must)

  • Robot Operating System (ROS / ROS2) framework
  • Robotics / cybernetics background
  • Proactivity in learning new skills and technologies
  • Good communicator
  • Attention to detail
