Research platform customized for LAAS/CNRS in Toulouse

An example of a completely equipped research platform was customized and built for the scientific needs of LAAS/CNRS in Toulouse.

The system was based on a DJI hexacopter F550 frame with E310 DJI motors, PixHawk flight controller, Intel NUC-i7 PC, high-resolution Mobius ActionCam camera, fast mvBlueFOX matrix-vision camera, Garmin Lidar rangefinder, and a PRECIS-BX305 GNSS RTK BOARD.

The system was designed to enable autonomous flights close to obstacles, stable and very precise control, possibility of cooperation with multiple robots, interaction with environment.
