A light-weight fully-autonomous micro aerial vehicle
A light-weight fully-autonomous micro aerial vehicle was designed for deployment close to indoor obstacles. An example of a research platform equipped with minimal sensory setup required for autonomous flights indoor.
The system was based on a DJI hexacopter F450 frame with E310 DJI motors, PixHawk flight controller, Intel NUC-i7 PC, high-resolution Mobius ActionCam camera, Garmin Lidar rangefinder and an indoor GPS Marvelmind. The system was designed to enable autonomous flights indoor, stable and very precise control, possibility of cooperation with multiple robots and interaction with environment.
