A large platform equipped with on-board localization of flying objects

A large platform equipped with on-board localization of flying objects and an autonomous actuator were designed as fully functional prototypes of the Eagle.one system used for hunting and eliminating unauthorized drones.

The system was based on a Tarot T18 octorotor frame, PixHawk flight controller, Intel NUC-i7 PC, Realsense 3D camera, Garmin Lidar rangefinder and an indoor GPS Marvelmind. The end-effector (the system for launching a net) can be operated remotely or autonomously based on a reasoning on-board computer using information from carried sensors.
